The Department of Labour supports your employment law research by providing access to its Employment Law Database with options to browse, view and search case summaries and download PDF copies of Authority determinations free of charge.

Browse Leading Cases by Topicleading cases in employment law listed under topical headings.  Use these topics to help define your search terms.

View Recent Cases - go directly to a list of cases uploaded in the last 10 days.

Search Database – Search cases by party name, year, keywords, etc.

Please note: the Employment Law Database provides a 24 hour facility for obtaining employment law case information and replaces the monthly Employment Cases Summary publication.

Themes in Employment Law

The Knowledge Management Team contributes to the knowledge of employment law by publishing articles on topical law issues throughout the year.  Themes in Employment Law are available to download free of charge.

Awards Research

The Department of Labour holds a complete set of the Books of Awards in hard copy format.  Contact the Knowledge Management Team to discuss requests for historical information from these books.
