Copies of Determinations
You can order any Employment Relations Authority determinations from the Workplace Information and Promotion Group Knowledge Management Team.
Please provide as much information as you can with each request e.g. party names, determination number, date of determination, Authority member etc.
Employment Court & Court of Appeal Cases
Employment Court decisions are available from Brookers, LexisNexis and CCH legal publishers (charges apply) or directly downloadable in pdf format from the Employment Court website (from June 2006). For decisions prior you can contact the Ministry of Justice Employment Court - Phone: 04 918 8800
Court of Appeal decisions are available on their website along with High Court and Supreme Court decisions of public interest.

The Knowledge Management Team also contribute their knowledge of employment law by the periodic release of articles on employment law. These Themes in Employment Law are available free of charge.

Employment Cases Summary
This is the Knowledge Management Teams’ monthly publication. It lists full headnotes of the significant cases (and gives brief summaries of the rest) for all Authority determinations and Employment Court judgments headnoted during the previous month.
Online versions in PDF & HTML format are available and subscriptions to the electronic version can be made at the Department of Labour Subscription Service.
